The dining room-
The biggest part of the dining room has dimensions of 11ft by 8.5ft, so the total area is 93.5ft
The second part of the dining room has dimensions of 5.5ft by 2.5ft, so the total area is 13.75ft.
Both parts of the dining room use the magnificent cherry hardwood which runs at $7.50 per sq ft. (5.00 for the wood and 2.50 for installation)The two parts have an area of 107.25 ft and at a price of $7.50 it will cost $804.38 to floor the dining room.

The Hallway-
The hallway was broken up into three parts, one which encompasses the linen closet. The first part of the hallway was a rectangle and had dimensions of 7ft by 3.5ft. The rectangle then has an area of 24.5ft. The next rectangle has dimensions of 14.5ft by 3ft. his rectangle has an area of 43.5 ft. The last rectangle has dimensions of 2ft by 5ft, and has an area of 10ft. The whole hallway has a total area of 78ft and by using the same cherry hardwood which runs at a cost of 7.50 per sq foot the hallway will cost $585.00.

The Kitchen-
The kitchen was broken into several parts all of which were floored using the finest granite Crawford's has to offer. The first part of the kitchen had dimensions of 7.5ft by 2.5ft. This rectangle has an are of 18.75ft. The next rectangle has dimensions of 7.5ft by 3.0ft,so it has a total area of 22.5 sq ft. The next part of the kitchen was under the refrigerator. It has dimensions of 2.5ft by 3ft, so it has an area of 7.5 ft sq. The last rectangle was under the stove and it has dimensions of 2.0ft by 2.5ft. This gives it dimensions of 5ft sq.When the areas are all added up you get a total area of 53.75 sq ft. To floor it I used a magnificent granite that ran at $15.00 per square foot. The cement board cost $1.34 per sq ft and installation of that board cost $1.50per sq ft. To install the granite it costs $3.50 , so the total cost per sq ft is $21.34. By multiplying that price by area the whole kitchen will cost $1147.03.

Totals!- The total area for those rooms is 239 squared ft. And finally what we've all been waiting for. . . the total cost for those rooms is . . . $2536.40!
